Most of people from all developing countries including Sri Lankans are trying to migrate to developed countries due to economic reasons. People finds ways and means to land on a western /European country ,then seek political asylum from government is not a new thing. This was a well-known occurrence for last 3 -4 decades.

In case of Sri Lankans they pay about SL Rs.half to 1 million to to human carriers/smugglers.
Due to well organize LTTE human smuggling by big ships ,Sri Lankan Tamils had a better advantage to seeking refugee status in European countries ,on arrival they have tamil tiger supporters to welcome them and get advice what to do next to put a successful refugee application. As a example New Zealand refugee council staff consist of lot of tamil NZ permanent residents who successfully won their own refugee cases ,with the help of NZ tax payers money.
After certain win of refugee status ,then Nz PR ,then citizenship, they have a free access to bring down their parents and siblings. While most of them not having English knowledge or academic qualifications, no need to worry to finding jobs as enjoying welfare benefit or dole ,have more than enough time to come to Aotea center in Auckland city and holding placards to insult your own country which gave them Free Education till university graduation, Free Health, Free welfare benefits and all the other benefits others get. They must have to donate to LTTE (or get by-force) only $10 or $15 a month to by weapons , in return they get all guidance from same alike NZ refugee council Tamil (Ltte)sympathizers to how to live in peacefully in a western country without doing a job. Money collectors on behalf of LTTE ,having no record of money collection send some to LTTE in through various illegal paths and consume the rest to start own business or having a luxury life.

When the SL govt; end of war they(tamil refugees all over the world, present and former) went mad in fear of finishing the honeymoon under the cover of bogus civil war against tamils.
As a Sri Lankan I don't mind they settle in a economically develop country , but to get that ,humiliate ones own country ,which gave shelter till they become men, can evaluate how these beasts are .
